Please give me a number of how many current designers try to get inspiration from the 60s? I leafed through magazines and found out the beauty of 60s. One of the world's first group of famous models--Jean Shrimpton--an English model popped up on the covers of Vogue, Bazaar, Elle and so forth.

Let's take a look at her representative 60's looks. Some are elegant, while others are the well-known 60s baby look

Where's spring?

I was about to ask "where is summer", but it seems that goes a bit too far… it is -9 in Paris!!! Can you believe it? we are already in Feb!!

It's bloody freezing in the daytime, let alone at night..I would rather stay inside and hold a cup of HOT chocolate or coffee to read magazines or chill out on the internet..nothing could be better than staying warm!!

I finally bought the Arty ring of Yves Saint Laurent, which I had visited twice in the boutique and for the third time, I just took it for not even 5 minutes!! For the first two times, not only the color/style is bizarre, but also the sizes of the rings are too small for me.. But come on, those were all my excuses, I just tried to persuade myself not to spend money on a ring whose color might fade within 3 months (I hope that will not happen…)

However, I am someone who will accomplish the thing that comes up into my mind in the very beginning, no matter after how many months..so I went to Printemps, directly to the stand of YSL jewelry, and picked out the red clashed with gold and little pink "golden" ring, paid it, and went back to school..

Actually I desired to buy the limited edition for Valentine's day, which is graved with a "love" in the back of the ring. But the reality is…this "love" ring is a limited edition which was sold out in the first day out and were all bought by an Indonesian customer…WTF..(Shhhhh)

But I love what I chose…it is a piece of art!!!! bling on my finger, and shining..

 I finally found out the "love wall" in Montmartre...

My dearest fashion follower friends, please tell me what is the biggest wave recently in the fashion world?

KARL!!

what? you are asking me what has happened? you are kidding me?

oh, if you tell me the biggest news recently, about Karl, is the Chanel Haute Couture show, your answer is 50% correct--the marine blue color style of Chanel 2012 spring/summer Haute Couture, which was held in a futuristic aircraft.

So, what about the other 50% of the answer?

of course, it is the new collection of Karl's own namesake brand, which has coordinated with net-à-porter!
it was released yesterday in Paris, London, Berlin, New York and Sydney.

why I post this blog? (I have too many questions today, don't I?)
Because, I attended the launch show in Saint-Germain and GUESS WHAT? I met KARL LAGERFELD himself!!! and he was right in front of me!! I could even touch him.!!! OMG

you can't believe it!!

Back from 1 month Trip

I disappeared for more than one month, because it was a disaster in the end of last semester. I couldn't handle both my schooling and blogs…and one month break, what would I do? of course traveling!!

but I will catch up my trips in the next post, I am too tired to post any travelogue right now, it's already 2am in Paris!!!

I'm just up here to paste two pictures that I took tonight

Vintage sunglasses, I bought from Lisboa. There was a flea market, which was HUGE. and I got this pair of glasses for 8 euro!!! c'est cadeau!!!
and the two postcards I picked up in the museum Jeu de Paume today after the visit to Diane Arbus's exhibition. J'ai craque pour les deux cartes de postales!!!

I have the addict to collect postcards from each of my trips. I send them back or I bring them back. I need something to remind me of my trips in the future, and more importantly, they are pretty!!!!
just several I've got, they are from Barcelona, Lisboa, Milano, Venice, Bern, Zurich, Paris etc. others are on their way home!!
