Just opened to the public yesterday, it is another retrospective exhibition after Balenciaga's in La Cité de la Mode et du Design early this year. Created by Gaby Aghion - not only the creator of Chloé, but also the creator of the term 'luxury ready-to-wear'. To some extent, Gaby invented parts of fashion world. And for this exhibition, as what it says in the official page of Palais de Tokyo:
"Chloé. Attitudes is the very first exhibition dedicated to Chloé, a celebration of the Maison’s 60-year contribution to fashion culture. Since 1952, its legacy of luxury prêt-à-porter clothing has consistently defined how modern women live. This spectacular and groundbreaking exhibition offers a playful interpretation of the Chloé spirit that spans seven decades."
"The exhibition presents the way in which la Maison Chloé has created an identifiable aesthetic and allure that has influenced women’s fashion. It is this ceaseless renewal of the imaginary that transforms the sensitivity of an era."

After Aghion’s art direction, Chloé was directed by Gérard Pipart, Maxime de La Falaise, Karl Lagerfeld, Martine Sitbon, Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philo, Hannah MacGibbon and today it is under Clare Waight Keller's hand.
