Bonnet

I used to be a hatless person, you'd never seen I was in a hat or cap whatever. My hair will be a disaster after wearing a hat..

But since I found my green fluorescent bonnet, I just can't live without it!...I wear it all day long, (to avoid of messy hair by not taking it off)...

It is a eye-catching color, especially in the night...I'm wondering whether it is safe to wear this color at night in Paris...(It should be the dark the better at night, no?)

Many friends or strangers came to ask about my bonnet, it's from American Apparel. It's warmmmmm, especially in this rainy Paris.

Bref, I love it! my new love

Nose--Perfume Concept

No, we are not in a chemistry lab.

It reminds you of Le Labo? You are not far. It is a newly opened perfume concept store in Paris, with a reasonable name NOSE.

With several niche perfume or fragrance brands, you can just find your proper scent which is different from the mass market so-called luxury brands. They provide you Francis Kurkdjian, Odin, Lorenzo Villoresi, Penhaligon's etc.

The most fascinating thing in this boutique is their perfume diagnose system. It is a made-to-order diagnostic system in order to give each customer their own scent. You registered your preference among the perfumes and the system will give you the result of your favorite oder from head notes, middle to base notes.

Afterwards, they will provide you several perfumes to try on, you smell, you note, you give another round of preference selection; finally you will get the real scent you are looking for.

Interesting test I've ever done.

My next bottle of perfume will be from Francis Kurkdjian...

Have a nice Saturday.

La Petite Veste Noire--by Karl Largefeld

I bet everybody knows it.
The little black jacket of Chanel.
Everybody desires it.

The exhibition of Karl's photographs finally arrived in its capital--Paris, after HongKong, New York, Tokyo...

It is good despite that I thought there would be some black jackets exhibited in the huge glass cabinets..

Weekend Antique Market

One of the things that I appreciate in Paris is the antique market and marché aux puces, i.e. flea market.
The goods are just so old and traditional.
Tens of white tents are alongside the avenue.
You can find old books, doorhands, lamps, vases, sofas, chairs, clothing, tableware, jewelries etc, you name it!

She is so kind and I like her brown fur coat, she told me it was warrrrrrrrrrrrm

How old is this accordion?

Guess: what are they?

my two favorite earrings got in today's market..dating back to 1950s

Do you like antique market?

Foire Internationale d’Art Contemporain

It is a feast of art.
It is held every year.
In Paris.
In Grand Palais.

Nearly 200 expositors (galleries) from all over the world.
Exhibition of contemporary art.

Artistes,
Buyers,
Collectors,
Kids,
Parents...

It attracts people from all walks of life.
We are just here to absorb what our brain is short of...
In a sense of artistic spirit..
